APPTUTTi
China
Overview
APPTUTTi is a 24/7 online portal that enables you to publish mobile apps and games into major Chinese app stores such as Tencent, Baidu, Qihoo 360, Oppo, Vivo, Mi, 4399, TapTap, and more. Together, these stores reach over a billion mobile devices.
For IAP games, APPTUTTi will walk you through the application process for an IP certificate and ISBN license (additional fees may apply) so that you can legally publish in China. For non-IAP games, APPTUTTi’s Ads SuperSDK* will allow you to effectively monetize in Chinese app stores with confidence.
Find out more at www.apptutti.com
*Ads SuperSDK is handled separately by APPTUTTi.

APPTUTTi’s partner stores reach over 940 million Android users in China.
Which countries does APPTUTTi reach?
China.
Which Android app stores does APPTUTTi cover?
APPTUTTi covers all of the major Android app stores in China, excluding Huawei APP Gallery. APPTUTTi’s partner stores include Tencent, Baidu, Qihoo 360, Oppo, Vivo, Mi, 4399, and TapTap.
What revenue share terms does APPTUTTi offer?
APPTUTTi operates a 50/50 split with our registered partners on the net revenue earned from in-app purchases and interstitial, banner, and video advertisements. This split is taken after deducting all of the admin charges and taxes of the local App Stores.
What monetization options does APPTUTTi support?
Games submitted to APPTUTTi through UDP should monetize via one of the following options:
  • In-App Purchases (IAP)
  • video and banner ads
I submitted my game to APPTUTTi – what happens next?
We will review your submission and reply with options we deem suitable for your game. These can include:
  • applying for a publishing licence (games with IAPs)
  • implementing APPTUTTi’s Ads (games with ads)
  • modifying your game to remove SDKs that Chinese stores do not allow (all games)
Be aware that APPTUTTi may ask you to create and resubmit a distinct game build from the original UDP one.
What is generally required to publish a game in China through APPTUTTi?
Foreign ad SDKs, social logins, and data analytics tools may not be allowed in Chinese app stores and must be removed. Games must be localized to Simplified Chinese.
Note: APPTUTTi provides free professional translation into Simplified Chinese for the first 1,000 words.
My game has IAP items; what happens next?
All games with IAP monetization are strictly required to have two documents ready before launching in China: an IP Certificate and an ISBN (publishing license). These two documents will also serve to protect the game’s intellectual property (IP).
APPTUTTi can provide application services for these two documents at an additional cost. You can find a detailed list of materials required for the applications on APPTUTTi’s Partner Resources Portal. APPTUTTi can apply in China, on behalf of the developers, and manage the whole application process until a decision (approval/rejection) from the Chinese Government is received. For more details, please refer to this link:https://www.apptutti.com/partners/service_ip_protection02.php
IMPORTANT: IP certificate registration and ISBN applications are subject to approval by the Chinese Authorities. APPTUTTi will provide feedback on the review and approval statuses, however we cannot guarantee that your game will be accepted by the authorities.
Once your game is accepted, APPTUTTi can help you publish the game to all of its partner Android app stores.
Do I have to set IAP prices in CNY?
Yes, prices must be set in CNY (Chinese Yuan, aka RMB). There are no restrictions on the number of billing points and their price limit. Developers are free to determine the unit price of each billing point of their in-app purchases. We advise our developers to consider market expectations when determining the price.
I already have a publishing licence (ISBN) for my game. Can I submit it to APPTUTTi?
Yes. Submit it through UDP and contact the APPTUTTi team via the following link:https://www.apptutti.com/corporate/contact-us/
My game doesn’t have any IAP items; what happens next?
Games without IAP items are not required to apply for an ISBN (publishing license).
However, to monetize with ads, you will need to integrate the APPTUTTi Ads SuperSDK. Your game will draw inventory from local ad networks such as TikTok, Tencent, and Mintegral, which are allowed in China. You can download APPTUTTi Ads SuperSDK here:https://www.apptutti.com/partners/download.php?id=ads.
Once implemented, APPTUTTi will submit your game to the Chinese app stores.
How does APPTUTTi choose which three stores will publish my app?
APPTUTTi will submit your app to all of the available top Chinese app stores. The first stores that approve your app will publish it.
